For the second year in a row, Medical Guardian proudly sponsored and participated in the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s, along with their families and friends, at Citizens Bank Park on Nov 8.
As a committed partner in the mission to support aging adults, Medical Guardian is proud to help advance Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. This year, through team donations and company matching, Medical Guardian raised over $6,400 to support the Association’s work to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementias.
Alzheimer’s continues to be one of the most significant public health challenges of our time. In the United States, nearly 7 million people are living with the disease, and more than 12 million caregivers provide unpaid support to loved ones navigating memory loss and cognitive decline.
Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event dedicated to raising funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. The Alzheimer’s Association provides 24/7 support services while driving scientific progress toward prevention, treatment, and ultimately, a cure. Since its founding in 1989, millions of Americans have taken part in the walk, helping transform awareness into action.
Medical Guardian associates participate not only on behalf of the company, but also for their loved ones, their communities, the members we proudly support every day and a future where Alzheimer’s and other dementias no longer define the lives of so many families.
