It is recommended to test your device and pendants monthly to ensure they are working properly.
Follow the steps below to test your device and pendants.
Press the transmitter button firmly and release. The device will announce, “Call in progress.”
To test the base device, press the red emergency call button.
- The device will state “Call in Progress” and then “Call Connected”.
- This will connect the device to Stella, the automated voice assistant. For more information on Stella, click here.
- If a live operator responds through the device, inform the operator that “this is just a test.”
- Important! Be sure to wait at least 60 seconds between tests.
