  1. Plug the device into a power outlet that is not controlled by a light switch<\/li>\n
  2. Turn the device on using the on\/off switch located on the bottom of the device<\/li>\n
  3. After a few seconds, the unit will announce \u201cControl Panel On\u201d<\/strong> and \u201cAttention: Cellular strength is X percent\u201d<\/strong> before the Communication Light goes to solid green<\/li>\n

                  How to pair a button with your device<\/b>:<\/b><\/p>\n

                    \n
                  1. Gather any\/all buttons to be paired.<\/span><\/li>\n
                  2. Press and hold the pairing button on the right-hand side of the base station until you hear two sets of beeps and then let go.<\/span><\/li>\n
                  3. The ring light around the Emergency Call button on will begin to illuminate blue.<\/span><\/li>\n
                  4. Once the ring light has illuminated, please step back at least five (5) feet from the base station with your new button in-hand. Then, firmly press and hold your button for six (6) seconds, and release.<\/span><\/li>\n
                  5. When your wearable button has successfully paired, the base station will announce, \u201cPairing successful!<\/strong>\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
                  6. Now that pairing has completed successfully, please make a test call from your wearable help button.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    Note: all buttons that arrive with the base will not need to be paired prior to testing.<\/em><\/p>\n

                      • Fall Detection works best when worn around the neck and outside of clothing.<\/li>\n
                      • Fall Detection does not detect 100% of falls. If you are able, press your fall detection button in the event of an emergency. You may experience false alarms from time to time.
