Follow these steps to install the Mobile Guardian (MD5)<\/span><\/strong>:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Plug the charging cradle into a power outlet not controlled by a light switch.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Place the mobile device in the charging cradle.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. The LED light on your mobile device may display multiple colors when first placing it on the charging cradle.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. The device will turn on within a few seconds and the LED indicator around the emergency button will illuminate. <\/span>It normally takes 30-60 seconds for the mobile device to register with the cellular network. When the device is set up correctly and connects to the cellular network, it will announce “system ready.”<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  5. The LED light indicator around the emergency button will illuminate red, indicating the device still needs charging. <\/span><\/li>\n
  6. When the device is fully charged, the LED indicator will change from red to green and will remain green until the device is removed from the charging cradle.\u00a0 <\/span><\/li>\n
  7. It will take up to 3 hours for the device to be fully charged.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    • <\/span>Solid Red \u2013 Charging.<\/li>\n
    • <\/span>Solid Green- Fully charged.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Out Of The Charging Cradle<\/b><\/p>\n

        \n
      • <\/span>No Light \u2013 Normal\/battery is okay.<\/li>\n
      • <\/span>Blinking\u00a0Red \u2013 Low Battery; one hour or less of battery life remaining.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Network Connection<\/b><\/p>\n

          \n
        • <\/span>Blinking Green \u2013 No cellular network connection.<\/span><\/li>\n
        • <\/span>No light \u2013 Connected to the cellular network.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Button Press<\/b><\/p>\n

            \n
          • <\/span>Red LED light will illuminate and will stay on until call has ended or after 2 minutes \u2013 whichever comes first.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Power Button<\/b><\/p>\n

              \n
            • <\/span>Small flashing green light at the power button indicating the device is powered on.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Cradle<\/b><\/p>\n

                \n
              • <\/span>No LED indicator.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Gather any\/all buttons that need to be paired, the mobile device, and the charging cradle. The charging cradle will need to be plugged into power.<\/p>\n

                  \n
                1. Power down\u00a0the Mobile<\/strong> Guardian MD5<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
                2. Turn the device back on using the power button.<\/li>\n
                3. If the device is powered on by placing it in the charging cradle, the button pairing will not be successful.<\/li>\n
                4. On the bottom of the cradle, there is a small button to initiate training mode.<\/li>\n
                5. Press and hold until you hear it beep then release.\u00a0 You will need something like a pen in order to press the button.<\/li>\n
                6. The mobile device will then announce, \u201cDevice Training Initiated.\u201d <\/strong><\/li>\n
                7. Press the emergency button on the mobile device once and release it.<\/li>\n
                8. You should hear the announcement \u201cTraining Success.\u201d <\/strong><\/li>\n
                9. Press the emergency button on any pendant you want to train once and release<\/li>\n
                10. You should again hear the announcement \u201cTraining Success.\u201d <\/strong><\/li>\n
                11. Once the training period is over you will hear the announcement \u201cDevice Training Completed\u201d<\/strong> and the mobile device will beep once more.<\/li>\n
                12. This should occur after 30 seconds.<\/li>\n
                13. Test the newly paired button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
