Once you begin to use your new 4G Device, the old equipment will be completely obsolete and cannot be used for any purpose. The good news is you won’t need to return your new 3G equipment, you just need to recycle the device.
The old equipment and battery cannot be placed in a trash can or dumpster. Placing the older equipment or rechargeable battery in the dumpster can be both dangerous, may even result in a fire hazard.
You can learn more about recycling on your local municipal website. Many large national home improvements, office products and electronics retailers also accept electronic devices and rechargeable batteries for recycling.
